Marukame Waikiki — How to Order

These aren't your typical udon noodles. Sanuki-style Udon is known for its backbreaking noodle-making process that results in a delicious toothsome meal. Choose from the offerings below and tailor it to your tastes.

Step One: Order Your Udon

CURRY UDON

A mild Japanese curry with shredded beef and onions.

BUKKAKE UDON

Cold udon served in a flavorful sauce.

ONTAMA BUKKAKE UDON

Our bukkake sauce topped with a soft boiled egg.

KAKE UDON

Our traditional broth with a light fish and seaweed taste.

NIKU UDON

Niku udon has the same broth as the Kake udon topped with sweet beef and caramelized onions.

KAMAAGE UDON

Kamaage udon comes straight from the boiler and doesn't go through a cooling process making the noodles more texturized all around. It is served with a hot dipping sauce (Bukkake sauce) which is more flavorful than the Kake broth.

ZARU UDON

Zaru udon is the cold version of the Kamaage udon. It's served with a side of our cold dipping sauce which is more flavorful than the Kake broth.

SPICY SHABU PORK

Cold udon served in salad topped with thinly slice pork covered in a spicy sauce.

VEGETABLE UDON

Cold udon served in salad topped with avocado dressed in a sesame sauce.

GARLIC CHICKEN SALAD UDON

Cold udon served in a salad topped with fresh, sliced Chicken Tempura dressed in a garlic-shoyu sauce.

Step Two: Add Your Choice of Tempura or Musubi

VEGETABLE TEMPURA

An assortment of kakiage, asparagus, pumpkin, mushroom, sweet potato, eggplant and croquettes.

SEAFOOD TEMPURA

An assortment of seafood is available, including ebi (shrimp), chikuwa (fishcake).

INARI

Fried bean-curd stuffed with vinegared sushi rice.

FRIED CHICKEN

Crispy-fried marinated chicken — Japanese-style.

SPAM MUSUBI

A Japanese twist to a local favorite cooked with Marukame's original sweet sauce.

SALMON MUSUBI

A lighty salted rice ball filled with fresh salmon flakes and covered with seaweed.

Assorted Musubi

In addition to our Salmon & Spam musubi, we also have Pickled Plum, Seaweed, and Ginger Beef musubi.

Step Three: Don't Forget Your Soup & Condiments

Don't forget all the little extras that you can garnish your udon with! For Kake udon, there's a soup dispenser where you can add as much or little as you like. There is a sauce and condiments area which includes various tempura sauces, chili flakes and wasabi, Tenkasu (tempura crumbs), Welsh green onions, freshly grated ginger— all available for you to season your udon to your liking.
